Up next for Kid Rocket is the crown jewel of Cedar Lake Speedway’s schedule,
the 18th ANNUAL USA NATIONALS that will run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday,
August 4, 5, and 6, and will pay the winner $40,000. For the first time the
event will be sanctioned by the Stacker 2 World of Outlaws Late Model

super stocks, midwest modifieds and street stocks along with Late Model
practice. The action continues on Friday with time trials, heat races and
dashes for the WoO Late Models and a full show of late models. Time trials
for the WoO cars will be conducted in groups instead of one car at a time.
The dashes will take the top finishers in heat races, scramble their
starting positions, and their finishing positions will determine the lineup
of the front rows for the $40,000 to win feature on Saturday night.
Saturday’s finale will include the semi-features and the huge $40,000 to win
feature for the WoO portion of the show. |
