‘Kid Rocket’ Makes Trek to
DTWC, Mississippi Next

WV --- Returning to the track and event where he made
his first ever-competitive career start in a dirt Late
Model in 2003 Josh ‘Kid Rocket’ traveled to Bluegrass
Speedway in Bardstown, KY over the October 14-16 weekend
for the 24th
Annual Arizona Sport Shirts Dirt Track World
Championship (DTWC). Last year Richards made
his first and only start of 2003 at the famed DTWC’s
companion event, the ‘Future Dirt Track World
Championship’ race for teenage dirt Late Model drivers.
During this
year’s DTWC Richards finished fourth in the seventh heat
race and then finished fourth in the third B Main. 93
dirt Late Models from around the country participated.
Richards competed in his Mark Richards Racing-owned
Rocket Chassis/Cornett Engines #1 sponsored by Seubert
Calf Ranches, Imler’s Poultry, MCB Motorsports, Hoosier
Racing Tire and Rocket Chassis.
Up next for Josh Richards & The Mark Richards Racing
will be a doubleheader in two weeks for the World of
Outlaws Late Model Series as the Dirty Dozen head into
their season finale at Delta Bowl Speedway in Tunica, MS
on Friday October 29th & 30th. Following the event on
Sunday October 31 the World of Outlaws Late Model Series
will celebrate the season at Sam’s Town Casino for their
