‘Kid Rocket’ Richards of Shinnston, WV traveled KC Raceway this past weekend
for the three-day 25th Anniversary Dirt Track World Championship presented
by Arizona Sport Shirts. Richards competed all weekend in his Mark Richards
Racing-owned #1 Seubert Calf Ranches, Ace Metal Works, MCB Motorsports,
Hoosier Racing Tires, Rocket Chassis, Cornett Engines Grand Prix.
During preliminary action Kid Rocket qualified 12tgh fastest out of the 130
car field and finished an impressive second in the sixth heat race. During
the feature Kid Rocket finished 19th in the final run down.
During the DTWC weekend Kid Rocket also appeared as a special guest on the
Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil DTWC pre-race show sponsored by VP
Racing Fuels live from KC Raceway to a national audience.
Kid Rocket will be back on the World of Outlaws Stacker 2 Late Model Series
trail soon as the World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series countdown to
the end of the 2005 season and championship begins in less than two weeks.
The stars and cars of the World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series will
make a first ever appearance at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick (Waynesville),GA
Wednesday, October 26th before closing the season at Volusia Speedway Park
in Barberville (Daytona Beach),FL Friday and Saturday, October 28th and
29th.
The SPEED Channel cameras will capture all the exciting action of the
October 28th and 29th “Gator 100” at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville
(Daytona Beach),FL. The broadcast will air Saturday, December 3rd at
4:00p.m. EDT. The SPEED Channelcameras have caught all the action of
thirteen of fourteen WoO Stacker 2® Late Model Series 2005 events schedule
to be broadcast on SPEED Channel. |
