Kid Rocket’s Mom Guest On DIRT NATION

The Mother’s of five dirt Late Model stars will be
appearing on the Monday October 25 edition of DIRT
NATION presented by Switchme.net including two newly
crowned series champions. Dirt Nation presented by
Switchme.net airs every Monday evening over the internet

and airs from 8:00 – 10:00 PM est.
Special guests include Gayla Hommel, the mother of dirt
Late Model star Duayne Hommel. Duayne Hommel was
seriously injured a little over a year ago and continues
his recovery. Duayne drove the Warrior Race Cars/Pro
Power Engines #H2 that carried sponsorship from Lakeway
Concrete, Alert Oil & Gas and Goddard Performance. Mrs.
Hommel has devoted herself to the recovery efforts of
her son in their Newport, TN residence.
Additionally, Tina Richards will make an appearance to
discuss her son’s rookie racing season. Mrs. Richards’
son is 16-year-old racing sensation Josh ‘Kid Rocket’
Richards who has spent a majority of the season racing
with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series as well as
selected independent and weekly events. Mrs. Richards’
son drives the Rocket Chassis/Cornett Engines #1
sponsored by Seubert Calf Ranches, Imler’s Poultry and
MCB Motorsports.
Also appearing will be Nikki Drown, the mother of Ohio
dirt Late Model star Doug ‘The Kid’ Drown. Mrs. Drown’s
son is a former MACS and Renegade Dirt Car Series
regular who drives the Rocket Chassis/Malcuit Racing
Engines #12 sponsored by Wooster Glass Co., American
Payroll Advance and Hites Racing Stables.
Also scheduled will be Georgie Bloomquist, the mother of
World of Outlaws Late Model Series star Scott Bloomquist.
Mrs. Bloomquist’s son drives the Bloomquist Race
Cars/Custom Race Engines #0 that carries sponsorship
from Miller Bros. Coal, Hawkeye Trucking and Arizona
Sport Shirts.
Also appearing will be Maria Clements, the mother of
Jeremy Clements, the 19-year-old South Carolina star.
