Kid Rocket Heads West

Shinnston, WV --- Josh ‘Kid Rocket’ Richards of Shinnston, WV is back on the road with the Stacker 2 World of Outlaw Late Model Series (WoO LMS) in his Mark Richards Racing-owned #1 Seubert Calf Ranches, Ace Metal Works, MCB Motorsports, Hoosier Racing Tires, Rocket Chassis, Cornett Engines Grand Prix with a recent weekend trip to Tennessee and Oklahoma.

The Stacker 2® Mid American Racing Series (M.A.R.S.) joined the World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series for the “River City 60” on Friday night July 22 for the “River City 60” at Memphis Motorsports Park near Memphis, TN. Scoring a fifth in his heat race Kid Rocket was relegated to the B Main which he won handily. During the feature event Kid Rocket would cross the stripe in 19th.

On Saturday night the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series competed in the “27th Annual Coca-Cola Summernationals Classic 50” at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK with Kid Rocket winning the first heat and a third in the dash race. Starting third in the main event problems forced Kid Rocket to a 13th place finish in the main event.

Kid Rocket now sits eighth in World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series national points.

On Tuesday, July 26, the Series heads to Lebanon, MO’s I-44 Speedway before three days of travel will find them in Fargo, ND for a two-day swing. Friday, July 29, the series will run a preliminary event at the famed Red River Valley Speedway before the weekend’s headline event on Saturday, July 30.
