‘Kid Rocket’ Richards of Shinnston, WV competed in a midweek show on Tuesday
with the Stacker 2 World of Outlaw Late Model Series (WoO LMS) in his Mark
Richards Racing-owned #1 Seubert Calf Ranches, Ace Metal Works, MCB
Motorsports, Hoosier Racing Tires, Rocket Chassis, Cornett Engines Grand
Prix with a recent weekend trip to Tennessee and Oklahoma.
On Tuesday, July 26, the Stacker 2 WoO LMS headed to Lebanon, MO’s I-44
Speedway for the “Missouri 50” where Kid Rocket timed in tenth fastest
during time trials and scored a fourth in his heat race. During the main
event Kid Rocket worked his towards the front and was as high as fourth when
a light drizzle began to fall as Kid Rocket powered past John Blankenship
for fourth on lap 28 but lost the handle on the entry into turn one spinning
to a stop. Joining the tail Kid Rocket made it up to 15th before the
checkers waved early due to falling rain.
Kid Rocket is now eighth in Stacker 2 WoO LMS points, 167 markers out of
first place.
The I-44 Speedway event was taped by SPEED Channel and will tentatively air
November 12th at 4:00p.m. EST.
The World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series next travels to Red River
Valley Speedway in West Fargo,ND Friday and Saturday for the “North Dakota
Governor’s Cup”. Friday’s action will feature a complete program capped off
with a $5,000 to win – 30 lap event with Saturday’s action paying $12,000 to
win the 50 lap main event. |
