Kid Rocket Competes in Two States

Shinnston, WV --- Josh ‘Kid Rocket’ Richards of Shinnston, WV just competed in a weekend swing in Indiana and Pennsylvania with the Stacker 2 World of Outlaw Late Model Series (WoO LMS) driving his Mark Richards Racing-owned #1 Seubert Calf Ranches, Ace Metal Works, MCB Motorsports, Hoosier Racing Tires, Rocket Chassis, Cornett Engines Grand Prix.

On Friday at Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon, IN the World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series sanctioned the $10,000 to win “Indiana Labor Day Classic 50” was held with Kid Rocket qualifying 14th fastest and nailing down a third place finish in his heat race. During the main event Kid Rocket crossed the checkers in ninth place.

On Sunday Kid Rocket traveled with the World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series for the sanctioned $10,000 to win “Bossard GM Store Todd Donovan Memorial 50” at Tri-City Speedway in Franklin, PA where Kid Rocket timed in sixth fastest, won his heat race and finished fourth in the dash. When the main event crossed the finish line Kid Rocket had a fourth place finish.

This coming weekend Kid Rocket will enter his first WORLD 100 at Eldora Speedway. Kid Rocket will be making a contribution to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort next weekend at the 37th Annual WORLD 100. Kid Rocket, through Farr Motorsports and Slavic Custom Shirts & Decals, will be donating 10% of all his apparel sales during the 37th Annual WORLD 100 weekend to the American Red Cross. Kid Rocket will have his apparel available at the Slavic Custom Shirts & Decals souvenir trailer located on Eldora’s ‘Souvenir Row’. Additionally, fans will also be able to make donations to the America Red Cross at the Slavic Souvenir Trailer throughout the weekend and beyond.

The World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series will take a week-end off before a three-day blitz through Illinois and Missouri. The September 16th – 18th events will go a long way in deciding the 2005 World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series Championship. Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL starts the week-end Friday, September 16th followed by I-55 Speedway in Pevely, MO Saturday, September 17th and the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, IL Sunday, September 18th.
